About the Farm

Charron Farm was established in 1959 as a family dairy farm by Charles and Bernice Charron, who raised 13 children on the property. David Charron grew up milking cows and has continued to run the farm, which switched from dairy to Black Angus beef in 2004. His lifetime of experience in farming is evident by the condition of his herd.

The farm is located in West Haven, Vermont, and operates as a grass fed, black angus beef operation. Unlike many farms, every Charron Farm beef is born and raised on their property, ensuring customers know exactly where their meat comes from. David has worked for many years on perfecting the herd, taking great care and pride in his animals.

Charron Farm is committed to Vermont sustainable agriculture and has been selling their beef to wholesalers for years before deciding to sell directly to customers. The farm also sells all natural baled hay in addition to their grass fed beef. Their animals have never been on a feed lot, and customers can take comfort in dealing directly with the farmer rather than a middleman.
