About the Farm

Oliver's Farmstand was born from the convergence of new parenthood and entrepreneurial spirit. In 2016, when the owners moved to Goshen shortly after their son Oliver was born, they found themselves contemplating how to build something meaningful while caring for their child at home. That first summer of 2017 sparked the creation of what would become a beloved community institution.

Starting with nothing more than a cheap tent and a couple of used farmstand tables, the venture taught valuable lessons in its inaugural season. By year two, the operation had evolved with the addition of a shed and electricity for refrigeration. Over eight years, the stand has grown steadily, adding freezers, fridges, and an expanding array of products from around the region, though not without facing the challenges of wind, rain, humidity, and wildlife that come with outdoor retail.

The farmstand's mission centers on providing access to all things local, sourcing the highest quality products grown right in the neighborhood. All products are thoughtfully sourced from around the region to ensure exceptional quality while supporting dozens of small businesses that take great care and pride in their production. Much of the produce arrives as fresh as possible, with many items harvested to order. Now entering their 10th season and transitioning into a new building, Oliver's continues to celebrate the bounty of what the Pioneer Valley offers throughout the year, maintaining their commitment to year-round service to the community.
