About the Farm

Kristy and Keith Brodeur are first generation farmers who have transformed their shared dreams into a thriving family operation at Bascom Road Blueberry Farm. When they first met and began discussing their aspirations as a new couple, they discovered common passions for nourishing local foods, dedication to hard work, and farming. Both grew up with family businesses that instilled in them the value of family and community, along with skills for self-sufficiency and community sufficiency.

After years of blood, sweat, tears, love, and joy, the Brodeours have honored their commitment to becoming stewards of their land, producing the best tasting and freshest, high-quality local produce and Pick Your Own fields they possibly can. Their dedication culminated in a beautiful October 2022 wedding ceremony held on their own farm, surrounded by loved ones against the stunning scenic backdrop of their blueberry bushes and the fall foliage on Mount Croydon.

The couple takes pride in using conventional farming methods while integrating modern practices and technologies into their operations. They feel strongly that folks should have access to wholesome locally grown and made products, and have dedicated themselves to turning their land into lush farm fields teeming with life. Their farm has been recognized as the #1 Best Berry Picking Spot in New Hampshire by WMUR's Viewers' Choice in both 2024 and 2025, reflecting their commitment to providing heart and soul to their community.
