About the Farm

The Kimball family story at Flat Hill Orchards begins in the 1950s when Roger and Louise Kimball of Littleton, Massachusetts purchased what would become a treasured third generation farm. Their vision took root in a neighborhood that was once home to many dairy farms, now transformed into scenic fields where horses roam freely across the landscape.

In 1979, Roger's son Gordon bought the farm and officially established it as Flat Hill Orchards, carrying forward the family legacy with dedication and purpose. Under Gordon's stewardship, the operation has flourished into a distinctive 80-acre orchard that celebrates the bounty of New England's growing seasons.

Today, Flat Hill Orchards invites visitors to enjoy both the sweeping views and the exceptional taste of fresh fruit from their carefully tended land. The orchard harvests thirteen varieties of apples alongside an equal number of nectarines, peaches, and plums, creating a diverse agricultural tapestry that changes with the seasons and reflects the family's commitment to quality and variety.
